Medical Cryotherapy (HPMC)
Traditional cryotherapy chambers use liquid nitrogen and require your entire body be in the chamber. The fumes from the liquid nitrogen are very cold on your skin but do not penetrate your tissues to the area of inflammation. HPMC uses pressurized CO2 to push the cold down into the area it is most needed, increasing effectiveness and reducing your pain faster.
Yes, when administered by a trained professional. Our treatment is non-invasive and all skin is protected with a silicone sheath. We monitor each session individually and utilize state of the art equipment to ensure your safety and comfort.
Your total session will take 15-20 minutes which includes discussion, prep and treatment (3-5 minutes).
Arrive cooled down (at least 10-15 minutes post workout) and in loose, comfortable clothing that will allow access to your area of treatment.
Treatment frequency depends upon your condition, goals and schedule. We will work with you to detemine your best course of action. Typical recommendations are 3-4 treatments in quick succession (48 hours in between) to eradicate your inflammation.

Patients with the following conditions are not candidates for HPMC:
- Primary peripheral neuropathy
- Fibromyalgia
- Nerve damage
- Vascular or circulatory complications in the extremities
- Active infections
- VNS or vascular necrosis syndrome
- Raynaud Syndrome
